Here is what wine societies from around Atlantic Canada have told us they have planned for the coming year. If you have information that should be on this list or know of changes that should be made, please let us know .

The annual World Wine & Food Exposition in Moncton in the Fall or 2009 will feature the following fine wines from Mainbrace International:

13 Rhys Harnish at the Shore Club in Hubbards, Nova Scotia presents a Wine and Art Gala in support of cancer research. Food and wine will be featured with Mainbrace pouring Ars Vitis Riesling, Langhorne Crossing Red, Langhorne Crossing White, and Cave de Tain Queen of Syrah (Racy and elegant wine from the Northern Rhône, full of strawberry and redcurrant fruit and spicy notes). Paintings donated by the Aspotogan Arts group will be auctioned by John Dunsworth (of “Trailer Park Boys” fame). Come and support a good cause.
August
8 The annual Seaport Beer Fest will be held outside Pier 21 in Halifax. Mainbrace will be there to pour Warsteiner Premium Verum beer and König Ludwig Weissbier. Visit us for a sample of refreshment in a glass.
September
25/26 The North Shore Bavarian Society of Tatamagouche once again organizes the largest Oktoberfest east of Ontario. Join in the fun with Warsteiner Premium Verum beer and König Ludwig Weisbier, pretzels on a stick, and lots of polka music.
